چکیده

Abstract Auxins play an important role in plant physiology and are involved numerous aspects of development, such as cell division, elongation differentiation, fruit phototropic response. In addition, through their antagonistic interaction with cytokinins, auxins a key the regulation root growth apical dominance. Thanks to this capacity determine architecture, natural synthetic have been successfully employed obtain more economically advantageous plants. The crosstalk between cytokinins determines development thus is particular importance field micropropagation, where ratios these two phytohormones need be tightly controlled achieve proper rooting shoot generation. Previously reported anti-auxin PEO-IAA, which blocks auxin signalling binding TIR1 receptor inhibiting expression auxin-responsive genes, has used facilitate hemp micropropagation. Herein, we report set new PEO-IAA-inspired anti-auxins capable antagonizing responses vivo. compounds bind was confirmed vitro by SPR analysis. Using DESI-MSI analysis, evaluated uptake distribution at whole level. Finally, characterized effect on organogenesis explants, they showed able improve beneficial morphological traits, balanced all produced shoots enhanced bud proliferation.

Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) and abortion.

The correspondence of Zias et al. (1993), related the finding of carbonized matter containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary psychoactive component of marijuana, in the abdomen of an adolescent girl who apparently died in childbirth around 400 AD. The researchers’s hypothesis was that Cannabis was administered to women in child birth to relieve pains and increase uterine contractions b...

A Micropropagation System for Cloning of Hemp (cannabis Sativa L.) by Shoot Tip Culture

This study describes the standardization of an efficient in vitro propagation and hardening procedure for obtaining plantlets from shoot tips of Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.). Hemp seedlings were germinated on half-strength 1/2 MS medium supplemented with 10 g·Lsucrose, 5.5 g·Lagar at a pH of 6.8 under light for 16 h per day. MS medium containing 0.2 mg·LTDZ, 0.1 mg·LNAA supported the maximal auxil...

Photoaffinity-labeled Auxins: Synthesis and Biological Activity.

Two light-sensitive analogs of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, namely 4-azido-2-chlorophenoxyacetic acid and 3-azido-5-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, have been synthesized for use as auxin photoaffinity labels. The preparation and biological activity of the compounds are described. Both contain the photolabile azido group; the 2,4-substituted compound shows auxin activity and the 3,5-substituted com...

Cannabis sativa (Hemp) Seeds, Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, and Potential Overdose

Introduction:Cannabis sativa (hemp) seeds are popular for their high nutrient content, and strict regulations are in place to limit the amount of potentially harmful phytocannabinoids, especially Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC). In Canada, this limit is 10 μg of Δ9-THC per gram of hemp seeds (10 ppm), and other jurisdictions in the world follow similar guidelines. Materials and Methods: We inv...
